About me
I have been sewing since I could first thread a needle, long before it was work—back when it was simply a language my hands spoke. Over the years, this quiet art has grown into a lifelong dialogue with fabric, form, and feeling. For more than forty years, I’ve guided clients from vision to reality, listening closely, asking lots of questions and using images to make desires clear and achievable.
My experience spans home studios, shop space in Whitehall ( Rhonda Lee’s Alterations & Custom Sewing ) and employment with local dry cleaners, and is shaped in part by raising four daughters—a journey that introduced me to chiffon, sequins, velvet, satin, and so much more. I am self taught, being mentored by some amazing seamstresses over the years. In my quest to make my own clothes and not have them look homemade, I have studied factory methods, true men’s tailoring and couture techniques. I have also studied image and wardrobe building and I have a Cosmetology background. My clients love that I can help them achieve an over all desired look for their event. I am their secret weapon.
I follow the rules of classic tailoring but love helping those brave enough to explore daring personal style goals. I understand the power of clothes and the impact of a lasting first impression. My goal is to help you feel confident and unburdened by your outfit, so you can focus fully on your day’s objective.
I enjoy working with clients who have a clear vision for their style, as well as guiding those who are new to curating their personal image through clothing. I love helping each person discover the power of a well fit garment that expresses their personality and boosts their confidence.
I invite you to explore my work and see the stories woven into every piece.
This is where our journey begins. Get to know my business and what I do, and how I’m committed to quality and great service. I’m here to be an integral part of your clothing storyline.
